End West Hartford Parking Restrictions
Led by You and Me
Our Community Movement
There has been an influx in parking ordinance violations occuring on Robin road and Farmington ave. Both of these roads are home to countless apartment buildings in which there is limited off street parking. Cars are subject to a $20 fine for parking from 2am-5am on these roads despite the lack of traffic at this time. To prevent being ticketed, you must fill out an OMIT! form which only allows for you to be exempt from ticketing for 7 days per month. This makes cars subject to parking violations for 21 days per month. This poses both physical and financial barriers as residents now have to pay to park in parking garages requiring an additional commute to retrieve their vehicle.
